Shawarma Shack donates thousands of snacks to frontliners daily

These tireless individuals in the medical and military fields dedicate their time, effort, and well-being to ensure the safety and health of Filipinos. In order for them to keep doing the good work that they do, they need an easy-to-eat snacks to boost their energy.

Since last March 19, 2020, Shawarma Shack has been continuously donating five thousand pieces of shawarmas daily. This noble act, led by Shawarma Shack founder Walther Buenavista together with some of their employees and volunteers, is said to continue until April or until the pandemic ends.

Frontliners from the Philippine General Hospital, San Lazaro Hospital, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, National Capital Region Police Office, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Armed Forces of the Philippines, as well as those located at the Mindanao Avenue and Balintawak exit borders, and other nearby areas are the beneficiaries of this on-going relief operation.

This small act of kindness is Shawarma Shack's way to salute the modern-day heroes for their dedication and hard work. Through bayanihan, they believe that everyone can altogether surpass this adversity and rise anew.
