THE PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD - MARSLEC AWARDED SHAWARMA SHACK FOR HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE DURING THE RELIEF OPERATIONS FOR TYPHOON ODETTE

Shawarma Shack was awarded the Plaque of Appreciation by The Philippine Coast GuardsMaritime Security and Law Enforcement Command (MARSLEC) for assisting the government in providing humanitarian aid by giving a variety of supplies during operations for individuals impacted by Typhoon Odette in December 2021.

Marketing Manager Ervin Andaya accepted the honor on behalf of CEO Walther Uzi Buenavista presented by Commandant, Philippine Coast Guard CG Admiral Artemio M. Abu at the 8th MARSLEC FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY held at Lakeshore Hall in Taguig City on September 16, 2022.

In the midst of the terrible Typhoon Odette, which severely damaged Surigao City in Northern Mindanao, Siargao Island, Dinagat Island, Maasin City in Southern Visayas, and Cebu Island. Shawarma Shack increased their outreach efforts to those impacted by these natural disasters, offering various typhoon relief supplies to those in need.

The Coast Guard Sea Marshal Group received office supplies from Shawarma Shack, which helped the group's operations function more smoothly.

Shawarma Shack is a firm believer in the power of bayanihan to help Filipinos thrive despite whatever difficulties or disasters they may experience.
